Astaghfirullah! 62 Percent of Middle School Students Have Adultery

Indonesia now has a new title. Namely the country with accessors porn sites world number one. This incision is really embarrassing. The reason is, one and a half years ago Indonesia's position was still at number seven, but one month ago it actually surged to the top position. The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) also confirmed this bad incision.

"According to data from the search engines that we got, the last one about a month ago indeed stated, Indonesia became the country that accessed the highest pornography sites in the world," explained the Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Communication and Information, Gatot S Dewa Broto, yesterday.

Even though he did not disclose in detail what the number was, Gatot stated that this was a homework assignment that had to be completed by the ranks. Because, Communication and Information Technology has a moral responsibility in minimizing access to the perverted content site. "We will work harder to solve this problem," he continued.

Minister of Communication and Information, Tifatul Sembiring added that the effects of the internet depend on the user. To Radar Bogor (JPNN Group), he said, based on pornography research in 12 major Indonesian cities of 4,500 junior high school students, it was found that 97.2 percent of them had opened pornographic sites.

Further data also added that 91 percent of them had ever done kissing, petting or oral sex. "In fact, the data also stated that 62.1 percent of junior high school students had committed adultery and 22 percent of high school students had had an abortion," he said.

As is known, the government of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) has formed a task force for the prevention and handling of pornography. The team consisting of ministers to the regional government will work to eradicate pornography in an integrated manner. The formation of this task force was marked by the issuance of Presidential Regulation No. 25 of 2012 on March 2. The Perpres refers to Article 42 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography which mandates the establishment of task forces. But until now, this team has not met the maximum results.

Separately, Head of the Bogor City Communication and Information Office (Kominfo), Chusnul Rozaqi, is still awaiting the results of the inventory of these problems from the Ministry of Communication and Information. So it is clear, there has been no pornographic protection measures taken by the municipal government. "For the city of Bogor itself, it is still waiting for authority from the center," Chusnul said when contacted overnight.

Children's observer, social and education, Jeannie Chamidi Ibrahim was disappointed with the new title obtained by this nation. Jeannie argues, free access to porn is free from entering the internet cafe (warnet). "Until now there is no age limit. This condition is feared to destroy the psychology of children," said Jeannie.

Meanwhile, informatics and telematics experts, Roy Suryo said, the phenomenon of uploading mass porn sites was considered not strange in a number of countries. Especially in Indonesia. "For me personally, frankly this problem is familiar. Moreover, the ranking is because other countries also have the same tendency," explained the alumni of Gajah Mada University (UGM) to Radar Bogor.

Roy emphasized that the government must immediately improve Indonesia's internet image in a better direction. And that can be done via the spread of software to schools, agencies, communities and internet cafes to anticipate the obscene site traffic. "There must be hardware protection from the server (upstream) as well as the need for brainware, ethics, moral and religious education," explained the member of the Indonesian Parliament from the Democratic Faction.
