Visiting Dubai, Ricardo Kaka Learns Islam and Arabic Culture




Brazilian soccer player, Ricardo Kaka turned out to have an interest in Arab and Islamic culture. This was seen when he made a 10-day visit in Dubai, late last year.


As reported Al ArabiyyaThe Real Madrid player expressed his intention to read and learn more about Arabs and Muslims on his 10-day visit to Dubai.


Kaka accidentally visited Dubai at the invitation of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in a campaign to attract more tourists in Dubai.

Together with his wife and sister, Digao, Kaka visited the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, and Jebel Ali Port. In addition to visiting the magnificent buildings, the world's best footballer in 2007 also took time to stop by the mosque.

When visiting a mosque specifically made for tourists who want to know more about Islam, the 29-year-old mega-star solemnly listens to an explanation of the way of life of Muslims and Arabs in general.

Kaka, who joined Real Madrid for a fee of € 65,000,000, admitted that he was very impressed and wanted to explore the explanation he had just heard.

"Dubai is a beautiful city and one of the most friendly in the world. I am very fortunate to be able to vacation here. I was very impressed with the welcome I got and I want to return to Dubai as soon as possible," said Champions League top scorer 2006-2007 with a score of 10 goals.
