Israel Still Needs Jordan



Zionist regime of Israel in order to maintain its relationship with Jordan did not hesitate to refuse to terminate US assistance to Amman.

The al-Youm al-Sabe website reported Thursday that Israel, which was at loggerheads with Jordan over the reconstruction of a bridge connecting Bab al-Maghariba al-Aqsa Mosque, refused to cut US aid to Jordan in an effort to prevent Tel Aviv's deterioration in relations with Amman .

This situation quoted Yediot Aharonot newspaper as saying, the impact of the Israeli move to reconstruct the Bab al-Maghariba bridge, Jordan was reluctant to send its ambassador to Tel Aviv and Israel pressured the US not to react to Amman's attitude and not to cut off aid to this country.

Israel is reconstructing the bridge which connects to Bab al-Maghariba to facilitate the path for Zionists to enter the al-Aqsa Mosque. Al-Aqsa Mosque has 15 doors.

Meanwhile, US financial assistance to Jordan annually amounts to 660 million dollars. Israel and Jordan signed a peace agreement in 1994 Wadi Car.
