The sterility of sanctions imposed by the West and Security Council, termed "Disabling Sanctions", have made Western powers and their allies have no means to lobby in negotiations. The sanctions even pushed Iran's non-oil exports and promoted this nation. This reality that is not in accordance with the expectations of the West and Israel makes both of them at odds.

This source further emphasized that the purpose of the telephone contact between Barack Obama and Benjamin Netanyahu last month was to help America understand the attitude of Israel who insisted on attacking Iran. At the contact, Obama tried to provide arguments and reasons for his opposition to military options against Iran.

Still according to this newspaper, Martin Sean Indyk, former US Ambassador to Israel said that friction between Washington and Tel Aviv was unavoidable and any lobbying was unable to bring the vision of both together. On the other hand, other US officials stressed, despite the friction between Israel and the US regarding a number of issues including the construction of the Zionist district in the West Bank, this did not spread to Iran's nuclear issue. This problem can be a pretext that Obama instructed the order to separate this issue from other policies.
