Sya'ban Month Priority

Sya'ban Month Priority

Sya'ban monthis the 8th month in the Islamic calendar system. The month of Sha'ban is between the months of Hijriyah Rajab and Ramadan. This month's name is rooted in the Arabic word tasya'aba which means scattered. At that time, ordinary Arabs went scattered, out looking for water. The month of Sha'ban also comes from the word sya'aba which means to break or emerge from the depths because he is between two noble months too.

The Messenger of Allah called this month of Sha'ban a month often forgotten by humans. He was forgotten because he was in between two months of attention: the month of Rajab and Ramadan. Rajab Month is considered because it is one of the Haram months, while Ramadan is due to the obligation of fasting a full month in it.

Fasting Sunnah in the Month of Sha'ban

Rasulullaah used to multiply the fast in the month of Sha'ban. He is almost fasting this month. He only breaks or does not fast for a few days.
From Aisharadhiallahu'anha, he said,

Until Copy: La Yphth, Wifter Until Copy: La Yasmine So what رأيت Messenger God صلى Allah The Prophet The Prophet Supplement Syram Month No Ramadan, I am رأيته أكثر Sama Thank you F Shauban

"Sometimes the Prophetshallallahu 'alaihi wa sallamfasting a few days until we say, 'He never fasting, and sometimes he does not fast, until we say: He did not fast. And I have never seen the Prophetshallallahu 'alaihi wa sallamfasting a month without exception in the month of Ramadhan, I also do not see him fast more frequently during the month of Sya'ban. "(Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)

Aisha said,

Lime However Nabi صلى Allah The Prophet The Prophet يصوم Months أكثر I Shauban, Fiction Kan يصوم Shauban When
"Never before was the Prophetshallallahu 'alaihi wa sallamfasting a month more than fasting month of Sha'ban. Sometimes he almost fasting Sya'ban a month full. "(H.R. Al Bukhari and Msulim)
Aisha said,

Kan Messenger God صلى Allah The Prophet The Prophet Examination I Helal Shauban Me La Examination I Carpet Tham يصوم You have Ramadan, Fiction Grief The Prophet Justice Arbitrators Days, Tham Sad

"The Prophetshallallahu 'alaihi wa sallampaying attention to the moon of Sya'ban, not as his attention to other months. Then he fasted when he saw Ramadhan. If Hilal does not appear, he begins Sya'ban for 30 days. "(HR Ahmad, Abu Daud, An Nasa'i and his sanad was acknowledged by Sheikh Syu'aib Al Arnauth)

Ummu Salamahradhiallahu'anhasay,

E Nabi صلى Allah The Prophet The Prophet أنه Lime Yep يصوم I Alsonia Months Tama No Shauban, Visas Will Ramadan
"That the Prophetshallallahu 'alaihi wa sallamhas never fasting a full month other than Sya'ban, then he connects with Ramadhan. "(Narrated by An Nasa'i and confirmed Al Albani)

The above hadiths are a multiplying propositionfasting in the month of Sha'ban, exceeding the fast in another month.

Sya'ban specialties

Apparently, his fasting contained extraordinary wisdom. From the physical side, it is a preparation for us to face fasting in the month of Ramadan which is a full month. From the spiritual side, the following hadith states the secret of wisdom behind multiplying fasting in the month of Sha'ban.

From Usamah bin Zaid, he said, I asked: "O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you (often) fast in a month as you fast in the month of Sha'ban?" He said: "That is the month most people neglected between Rajab and Ramadhan, the month in which the Prophet (pbuh) was appointed to God, the Lord of the universe, and I wanted my deeds when I was appointed. (Expressed by Al Albani in Shahih An Nasa'i, no. 2221; authenticated by Ibn Huzaimah).

What illustrates the proximity of the Prophet is to God's control and his desire to always give the best as a servant to his King. He wants to deliver the good deeds that are heading for the glory of God in the best condition, avoiding sin and sin. And this can be achieved by fasting.

Wisdom Fast in the Month of Sha'ban

Ustadz Ammi Nur Baits in his sharia consultation states that ulama disagreed about wisdom encouraged him to multiply the fast during the month of Sya'ban, given the many histories of this fast.
The most powerful opinion is the explanation of the hadeeth of Usamah bin Zaid, he asked: "O Messenger of Allah, I have never seen you fast within a month as you fast in the month of Sya'ban." The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

Month Yugel Alice O ' Ben Rajab Vermilion, Sit down Month Disaster فيه Business to me Lord Scholars, فأحب أن Yoga Practical Wanna Time

"This is the month of many people, the month between Rajab and Ramadhan, which is the month where the charities are lifted up to the Lord of the universe and I wish when my charity is lifted, I am in a state of fasting." (Narrated by An Nasa'i, Ahmad, and the sanction of Shaykh Al Albani)

Increase the Worship in Nisfu Sya'ban Night

Then he explained about the scholars who disagreed about the status of the Nisfu Sya'ban night's top priority. At least there are two contradictory opinions in this issue. Here's the description:

First opinion,
there is no special strength for Nisfu Sya'ban night. Its status is the same as other regular nights. They claim that all the prophecies that mention the virtue of the Nisfu Sya'ban night are weak traditions. Al Hafidz Abu Syamah said: Al Hafidz Abul Khithab bin Dihyah - in his book about the month of Sya'ban - said, "The hadith scholars and critics of the narrators say, 'There is none of the hadiths that mention the virtue of Nisfu Sya'ban night. (Al Ba'its 'ala Inkaril Bida', Hal. 33).

Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baz also denied the priorities of the month of Sya'ban and Nisfu Sya'ban. He said, "There are some hadha dhaif on the nisfu of the night of nisfu Sya'ban, which can not be used as the basis of the Hadith which mention the virtue of the prayer on the night of Nisfu Sya'ban, all of which are false status as the scholars of Hadith. (At Tahdzir min Al Bida, Hal. 11)

The second opinion,
there is a special preference for Nisfu Sya'ban night. This opinion is based on the hadeeth of Abu Musa Al-Asy'ari radhiallahu 'anhu, where the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, Allah sees in the midnight night of Sha'ban, then He forgives all his creatures except the idolaters and the hostile. " (Narrated by Ibn Majah, At Thabrani, and Al Albani confirmed).

After mentioning some of the main moments, Sheikhul Islam said, "... the opinion held by the majority of scholars and most scholars in Madhhab Hambali is believed to have the virtue of the Nisfu Sya'ban night. This is also in accordance with Imam Ahmad's information.Because of the many hadiths related to this problem, as well as justified by the history of his companions and tabi'in ... " (Majmu 'Fatawa, 23: 123)

Ibn Rajab said, "Related to the night of Nisfu Sya'ban, formerly Syi'ah people, such as Khalid bin Ma'dan, Mak-hul, Luqman bin Amir, and some other tabi'in, they glorified him and earnestly worshiped that night ... " (Lathaiful Ma'arif, Hal. 247).
