Thousands of Gay 'Tumplek' in Berlin City Center

BERLIN, - The Bradenburg Gate area in the center of Berlin on Saturday (06/23/2012) was filled with thousands of gay couples and visitors. They came to take part in the 2012 Street Day Christopher Festival. The program, also called the Berlin Gay Pride, was a celebration and a reminder of the demands of freedom for homosexuals.
These gay couples appear in a variety of outfits and gait from around the Alexaderplatz area towards Bradenburg Gate.
Not only from Berlin, some couples come from a number of neighboring countries. They dance, sing, and express freely the expression of love for the couple throughout the day.
This event is also a special attraction for local visitors. Thousands of tourists visiting the Old City area of ​​Berlin, including the memorial tomb of the massacre of Jews at the Holocaust Memorial, joined in the festival which lasted only one day.
