SD Surabaya is the Champion of the International Robot Competition

The glorious achievement was etched in Muhammadiyah 4 Elementary School Pucang, Surabaya, East Java. This time the name Inside Rasyid name the school.
The work of the 10-year-old student robot successfully won 2nd place in the Silver Medal category at International Islamic School Robot Olympiad (IISRO).

This competition was held on 23-26 May 2012 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Rescue Robot category with a 12 volt battery managed to set aside 200 teams from Indonesia and Malaysia. The ability of robots is able to avoid various obstacles including zigzagging and the ability to take inclines with a slope of 26 degrees.
"This Rashid has the sharpness of strong thinking instincts. Only in one month's time, he was able to finish his robot car," said Muhammadiyah 4 Elementary School Principal Muhammad Sholihin to Viva news on Tuesday 29 May 2012.

Rasyid added, in the previous tournament, this fourth grade student won the national championship in the Cup-Analog Analog Line Tracer competition. Ichdan also won first place at GP Robot Contest in 2011.

For this achievement, the school prepared these outstanding students to be able to attend the next international olympiad stage.

"Hopefully we can take part in the competition to a higher level. For that, we continue to advance the achievements that have been achieved," continued the two teachers, Endik Setyawan and Iwan Kurniawan.
